ONE MILLION TREES PROJECT & WOOSH
- WOOSH was born out of our desire for a more environmentally friendly alternative to the pleasures of vaping!
- Woosh employs over 200 Kenyan youths and feeds thousands of Kenyan families
- We pride ourselves in offering job opportunities to creatives, bodaboda riders, drivers, accountants and many others

WHAT IS ONE MILLION TREES
PROJECT?
The #OneMillionTrees Project is an initiative that entails a mega plan of planting over one million trees over a period of time
The project was kicked off at Kereita Forest by planting a THOUSAND trees. The project was carried out by the WOOSH team with the help of government officers from Kenya Forestry, Kereita Wilderness and the community.
Starting from today, we will set up the WOOSH fund.Every WOOSH you purchase will donate 1 gold coin to the tree planting fund, and for every 200 gold coins, we will plant a tree at KEREITA FOREST!
PROJECT INSPIRATION

Since the start of human civilization, we’ve cleared 46% of trees. And today, with our sprawling urban areas and wide open fields, it’s tough to envision what a wooded world looked like.

In 2019 alone, we lost thousands of acres of tree cover to deforestation, logging and fires — equivalent to a soccer field of trees every six seconds.

New findings suggest that deforestation, alongside rising temperatures, is transforming what’s left of our forests, keeping trees smaller and younger.
WHY KEREITA FOREST
Kereita forest covers an area of 4,720 ha, of which 75% is indigenous forest, 8% is exotic forest, the rest being bamboo, shrubland and some herbaceous trees
